La manifestación convocada para este jueves por la Mesa de la Unidad Democrática (MUD, coalición de partidos opositores de derecha), que tenía como supuesto destino el Ministerio Público en el centro de Caracas, culminó en actos violentos y vandálicos en varias zonas de la capital, concretamente en la avenida El Rosal, en Chacaíto, donde un grupo violento secuestró e incendió una unidad de transporte de alimentos perteneciente al Ministerio del Poder Popular de Transporte y Obras Públicas.

Desde abril pasado, sectores de la oposición han realizado llamado de calles que terminan en focos de violencia. Las mismas han dejado un saldo de 92 personas fallecidas, más de 1.300 heridas y millonarios daños a bienes públicos y privados.
La asistencia de manifestantes pacíficos de la oposición precede a la acción violenta de los grupos violentos, de reducido tamaño en proporción a la manifestación convocada, constituido por jóvenes encapuchados o dotados de máscaras antigas, ataviados con escudos y guantes, quienes generan largos enfrentamientos al final de cada marcha y cuyas imágenes, luego, son proyectadas en la campaña de “represión” del Gobierno nacional contra el pueblo opositor difundida en redes sociales, medios nacionales y extranjeros.
